Refunds/cancellations

Tuition refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks before the session start date. Processing fees are non-refundable. Effective 14 days before the session begins, there is a $45 cancellation fee. NO tuition refunds are issued after the first day of classes. Credit toward future sessions is offered in exceptional circumstances.

Class minimums

Classes typically have 6-12 children.

If not enough children enroll in a class, we will notify you via email and/or phone to let you know and switch you into another class. If no other class works with your schedule, you will be issued a full tuition refund. (Processing fees are non-refundable.)

Music Together^® Privacy Policy

By enrolling in a Music Together class at Heartsong Music, a licensed Music Together center, you agree that the contact information you provide will be shared with Music Together Worldwide (MTW). For information about how MTW uses and stores your personal information, we encourage you to review the Music Together Worldwide Privacy Policy. 

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I consent to the participation in music classes operated by Heartsong Music, including but not limited to regular classes, demonstrations, trial classes, make-ups, and any sing-alongs or special events. I understand that these programs encourage the use of many different props and movements, and I assume all risk of injury arising from such activity. Parent(s) and/or caregiver(s) assume full responsibility for all minors in their care while attending these programs. Accordingly I release, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Heartsong Music, its teachers, Music Together Worldwide, any of the locations where class is held and the owner and operator in which the applicable program is located, and their respective directors, officers, employees, sponsors, and staff from any claim, suit, demand, or action arising in connection with my child’s participation in programs operated by Heartsong Music.

By choosing to register, I am agreeing to the above.

Policies & Procedures

Make-Ups

We offer enrolled families 2 make-up classes per session, which can be conveniently scheduled on our website, Make-Up Scheduler, within the enrolled session.

Illness

Must be fever-free for over 24 hours.

Must not have vomiting/diarrhea in the past 24 hours.

Must not have a cloudy discharge from the nose. 

Must not be actively coughing or sneezing.

Must not have pinkeye or an eye infection.

Inclement Weather

In the case of inclement weather, Heartsong Music follows AISD closures and delays. Notices will be posted on our social media and website as efficiently as possible. We will follow up with a replacement class date once the date has been scheduled. If the announced replacement date does not work, you will be allotted an additional make-up class.

Food & Drink

Refrain from bringing food into class.

Eating prohibits full musical participation. Also, some children have food allergies - this policy helps keep everyone safe. Please eat before or after class, and step out of the room in case of an unexpected hangry moment.

Water and milk in sippy cups or bottles are permitted in class.

(Coffee/tea should be placed high on a shelf, fully out of reach of children.)

We honor breastfeeding mommas. Anywhere you are comfortable, we are!

Phones & Devices

Refrain from using phones during class. Try to keep them out of sight.

Active parent participation is essential. Taking videos, pictures, talking, or texting during class can be distracting and take away from being fully present. A quick photo or video now and then is fine, but it should be minimal. (Emergencies excepted!)

Children’s Work Area

Our Children’s Work Area (lobby) is designed as a Montessori environment. It is open 30 minutes before class and 30 minutes after class for registered (and visiting) families to visit, work, and play. Help your child restore their work to the place they found it, so the next child can have the same opportunity.
