I was brought up in music and am a classically trained singer. Music has shaped me from a young age. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, I participated in choir, musical theatre, and music camps. When I turned sixteen, I moved to Idyllwild, California, where I attended a performing arts high school, studying opera and classical music at Idyllwild Arts Academy.
During my college years, I took a break from music to study anthropology with a focus on archaeology at California State University, Northridge. I spent the next several years interning in Israel, where I went on archaeological digs and worked in the laboratory at the University of Tel Aviv. I have always been fascinated by human behavior, which has ultimately led me to where I am today.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I moved from Los Angeles, CA, to Park City, UT, eventually settling in Austin in 2022.
In 2023, my daughter was born, and that is when I rediscovered my love and passion for music. Singing to her and seeing the happiness it brings her led me to Heartsong Music, where I realized my true calling is to be a music teacher. I took my daughter to her first music class when she was five months old, and we continue to attend to this day.
I am all about the giggles and happiness that music brings! Music is such a wonder and has a beautiful way of bringing us closer together. I hope to bring silliness, laughter, and joy to all of you—grown-ups and children alike. It is a constant pleasure to see all of your smiling faces in the classroom. My goal is to bring love, light, and happiness through song and dance. I can’t wait to share my passion with all of you!
